Brian heard baby's heartbeat for the first time last night... it was amazing. My eyes are welling up just thinking about that little life that's growing inside of me... a palm-sized Laci/Brian hybrid. Little eyes, little nose, little mouth. Soon, we will be able to hold this little person we've created. We'll be charged with taking care of him or her an making sure that life is as beautiful and safe and sweet as it can be.
I can't wait, and I want to put it off as long as I can.
